Why month six sounds different from month one

First sessions
Intake — track, age 12, sprints (100/200), club. You saw it right away: genuinely fast, and then a pop-up start, pressing at top speed, and tying up at the end of the 200. All the speed, none of it on the clock. We kept all of it.

The drive phase
Built the drive phase — wall drives and falling starts, staying low and driving out instead of popping straight up. The start is where the most time in a sprint is made, and he was giving it away.

Running relaxed
The counterintuitive one — fast is loose. When he tried to run faster he tensed up, and tension is slow. Build-ups focused entirely on soft hands and a soft face.

Finishing the 200
Form under fatigue — hold clean mechanics in the last 50 instead of tying up. Nobody speeds up at the end of a 200; the race goes to whoever slows down the least.
