A pull-from-anytime set, sorted by what it builds. Pick two or three per session — don't run them all.
Every "at-bat" starts 0-0; a point for strike one, minus one for a ball. Rewards strikes over speed.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Strike one wins the at-bat."
Start at 2-0 or 3-1 and throw the normal, controlled fastball — not a harder one. Trains command when the instinct is to overthrow.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Behind in the count: smooth, not harder."
Alternate fastball and changeup; a partner calls whether the arm looked the same. She wins only when they can't tell.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Same arm, slower ball."
Change in Fastball Counts
Throw the changeup in counts where hitters expect heat, and land it for a strike. Makes it a weapon, not just a chase pitch.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Throw it like a strike."
Close-range snaps, clean tight spin, finish out front. Gets the fastball starting on line.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Snap it, finish out front."
The Reset Between Pitches
After every pitch, good or bad, step off, breathe, square the shoulders, step back on. Same routine so a walk doesn't change her body language.
Coaching Cue
Cue: "Step off, breath, shoulders up, next pitch."
Building a session: warm the spin, one command block, one changeup block, and a live simulated at-bat to close — get ahead, mix speeds, finish. Rotate which leads so no part of her game goes stale.
