Aiden’s goal worksheet

A real one, built for one lacrosse kid from everything the parent had shared. Nothing here is demo copy.

Goal Worksheet

Aiden's Goals — Spring Into Fall

A working sheet, not a wish list. Each goal has a way to tell if it's actually happening — a goal you can't measure is just a hope.

The big one

Become a complete threat — one a defense can't take away with one adjustment. Why it matters: the athleticism and dodge are already there; being one-dimensional is what good defenders exploit.

  • How we'll know: a game where a defender forces him left and he makes them pay.
  • This week: off-hand wall ball; take the left lane when it's given.

Skill goals

An off-hand he'll use.

  • How we'll know: he dodges and finishes with the left in a game without being forced to.
  • This week: off-hand wall ball and off-hand dodge-and-finish.

Shoot for corners, not cannons.

  • How we'll know: he places one low to the corner instead of ripping it over the cage.
  • This week: corners-not-cannons reps; three-quarter pace to a target.

The off-ball goal

Be dangerous without the ball.

  • How we'll know: a goal or chance created by a cut or give-and-go after he passed.
  • This week: V-cuts and give-and-gos; pass and move every time.

The one that isn't a skill

Don't force it after a turnover.

  • How we'll know: a turnover followed by a simple, smart play instead of a hero dodge.
  • Nobody claps for this one. It's the habit underneath every other goal on the page.

Pick one target every time he plays or trains, put a number on it, and chase it. The goals don't move — the evidence stacks up.
